This decorative cavalry sabre features an antiqued finished guard and scabbard and is based on the design of a classic sword that would have been worn and used throughout the "gunpowder" era, despite this long association with the cavalry, sabres are also worn as dress swords by infantry officers today.
Measuring 101cm overall and hand crafted from a high carbon steel, this sword makes for an ideal display piece.
NOTE
As Seen in the picture, the scabbard is poorly finished and needs repainting.
It also has slight rusting on a small part on one side of the blade, - this could
be removed with a little sanding.
