The Arkansas Toothpick is a famous knife that was widely used in North America during the 19th century. This impressive knife was allegedly invented by knife maker James Black, the man who made the first Bowie knife. The two knives have lent their names to the state of Arkansas, which is known as "The Toothpick State" and "The Bowie State."

Both knives have stately dimensions, but that is about all they have in common. The blade of the Arkansas Tooth pick is symmetric and kept very simple. Due to the length of the blade, this edged weapon is ideal for wilderness survival. The crossguard and riveted pommel are made of brass, while the comfortable, coffin-shaped handle is made of wood. Our Arkansas Toothpick comes with a leather sheath with a brass chape.
