Details
Stage combat swords have to meet different requirements than battle-ready swords do. In order to minimize the risk of injury from cuts and thrusts during stage combat with swords, this one handed stage combat sword has back edges that are at least 3 mm thick everywhere and it even has a rounded point.
The thick blade of our one handed stage combat sword makes it somewhat more top-heavy than a comparable battle-ready sword would be. The grip with a spiraling groove is wrapped in genuine leather for increased control and comfort. Our Crusader stage combat sword has a riveted wheel pommel etched with a Crusader cross. The pommel and straight crossguard best date the sword to the 12th/13th century.
This Crusader stage combat sword includes a scabbard made of genuine leather with a mount and chape.
