This historically accurate 5 lobed viking / transitional period sword comes with a hand forged blunt edge high carbon steel blade, a leather covered hardwood handle, mild steel crossguard and 5 lobed pommel.
The scabbard is made from a leather covered hardwood with embossed detailing and a steel chape to protect the end.
The Leather Covered handle had 3 ridged to give a firm grip while the solid steel pommel and the blade fuller help to provide a better balance to the sword.
As part of our economical range this is a good sword for stage / costume or prop use but will also be suitable for light re-enactment use with the tip being rounded off further.
