Decorative Medieval Sword Inspired by the legends of King Arthur The sword was made around 40 years ago in New Zealand by an artist who (like myself) was inspired by the knightly way and legends of King Arthur. It is crafted out of a solid piece of brass with the blade dipped in chrome. The whole sword, including the blade is very solid and straight, though the hilt has a slight 'wonk' in it that is hard to notice. There is also a little pitting in the chrome after all these years, but not too noticeable. It's quite heavy, round 4 1/2 kgs, so it's unlikely you could lift it with one hand from the hilt, not really designed for re-enactment. The overall length is 124cm, the hilt is 26cm long, and the guard 28cm wide. This is a completely one-off handmade decorative sword made in respect of the knights of old, and as such has quite a presence about it. I'm moving country and would like to see it go to an appreciative home." />
