This Knights Templar Helmet is a Great Helm from around the 13th century when the order was at the height of its power.
It is decorated by a large black cross pattée associated with the order along with a smaller antiqued brass cross at the centre.
It is hand crafted from polished 18 gauge steel and comes with a black paint interior.
The Knights Templar were a powerful crusading order of knights founded in the 11th Century
with many of their number recruited from England and France.
There are many Templar castles and churches throughout England including the Temple Church in London
made famous in movie - The Da Vinci Code.
