Masonic Sword - 18th/19th Century

The masonic sword is 34 1/2 inches in length with a mirror finished blade which is not sharp. This slender piece comes in a decorative blue leather look scabbard with embossed detailing on the metalwork. At the top of the scabbard it also has belt/hanging loops.The handle is again highly decorative to match the scabbard, and on both sides of the pommel it has the Masons symbol

The Freemasons of the 18th and 19th centuries gave the Masonic Sword as an award of rank and merit. The engravings on the sword and scabbard displayed the symbols of the movement. This replica faithfully reproduces the detail of a Masonic sword of the period.
