Migration Period Helmet

The inner circumference of this Migration Period helmet measures approx. 63 cm.

This helmet is designed to protect the face, just like the helmets that wandering ethnic groups like the Vikings and Normans wore during the Migration Period. Made of almost 6-mm-thick heavy grade leather, this helmet is stitched together and has decorative riveting. The neck guard and cheek pieces are riveted to the bowl. The liner improves this Migration Period helmet's wearing comfort and adjusts to fit a variety of head sizes.
