recommend 1 people found this helpfulNice, quality replica. Looks good and feels good. Nice action. However not sure whether the gun or the optional bullets are causing a regular misfire. Tried several occasions and was never able to fire all six rounds consecutively. On one occasion one from six fired despite recycling the chamber. On another two fired consecutively ... the rest misfired then one fired again on recycling. Examining the bullets it looked like the misfired caps were not being struck. As the 'firing pin' on the gun is a horizontal bar and there is a horizontal detente in the rear of the bullet I can't see how the percussion cap can be struck unless the two are aligned as they come to the firing position in the chamber which is impossible to guarantee as they move randomly in the chamber. Not bought to fire but disappointing and lets the overall package down. Still a nice purchase

Instead I opted to purchase a pair of duelling pistols and pay the difference .Received the day after I placed the order. I have recently purchased replicas from other sources but Southern Swords have reacted quickly and well to my orders will use them again.
