The Rondel dagger is distinguished by its round disc-like guard and pommel, this dagger was popular with the gentry and aristocracy. Used for thrusting, self-defence, assassinations and close combat fighting, where a sword would be to cumbersome to be used effectively.
Based on models from the 14th century this is an excellent rendition of the timely originals. The blade is constructed of forged EN45 polished steel and is equipped with a leather covered scabbard. The guard has a round disc-like design to protect the hand.
