Sir Godfrey Sword - Robin Hood Officially Licensed Replica

Simply named Sir Godfrey in the movie, "Robin Hood"(2010), the cunning villain is Robin Hood & Co.'s main adversary and is substantially responsible for the attempted French invasion of the British Isles.

Our Sir Godfrey sword is an official replica of the weapon wielded by actor Mark Strong in the movie. At 24 cm wide, the solid cross-guard is embellished by a total of 18 copper-colored rivets and measures 1.4 cm thick and 1.1 cm tall on the ends. Corrugated and wrapped in violet leather, the grip is supremely secure. Within the wide, 62 cm-long fuller is a rather special eye-catcher: SOSMENCRSOS comes from an early 13th-century sword found in the Peene River in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The precise translation is unclear, yet it is supposedly a quick prayer to Jesus Christ and the Mother of God, a plea for support.in battle.
